About

We believe in Universal Wellness, that everyone has the right to access services to encourage healthy living, optimum health and feel great both physically, mentally, and emotionally.  For the vast majority, life can be hard and expensive. In 2016 British Columbia created a poverty reduction strategy that outlined key priorities to reduce the number of people living in poverty. Between 2019-2021 some gains were made however as the country grappled with pandemic recovery many Canadians are still being left behind. In 2021, 4.7 per cent of families were living in deep poverty, an increase from 3.6 per cent in 2020. We know that as life becomes more expensive there is little to no disposal income to support individual wellness.
